Fairfield County Connecticut
Bethel was formed in 1855 and is located in northern
Fairfield County. The town lies sixty miles from New York City and 50
miles of Hartford. It can be accessed by state routes 6, 53, 58 and
Interstate 84. Its neighboring towns are Redding, Danbury, Brookfield
and Newtown. Careful planning has maintained a well-balanced mix of
primarily residential use with light industry concentrated in designated
areas.
